Tracks seem to be disappearing from my itunes library. This is 4th cd ive been listening too where tracks have been missing, so im wondering if its itunes or somehow ive been deleting songs and not knowing it. This happened to anyone else?

The songs could have some sort of copyright protection on them, some cd's do. Also you might have some funky setting that when you import a cd it might automatically be telling iTunes to not convert any songs that might need to be.

maybe its itunes filtering through your shit.. probably some where in their user agreement they stuck something in there about being able to freely scan your computer from time to time if they so do wish... i know that in media players user agreement they have something to that effect you giving them the right to remotely connect to your computer

Well thats what you get with a apple program.
They don't handle errors well, so if something were to not work when it was converting it to its native file type, it may have just thrown the songs away. Check your recycle bin.
Also go through you local documents, as well as all the directories that house itunes.

MediaMonkey will sync with your ipod dude... and its free.. and you can get workable serials for it.. plus you can auto tag all your music with amazon.com.. its a great program and it doesnt suck up a ton of ram

i think im gonna try them i just found another cd with a missing song so i know its their software. I didnt find anyone with the same problem as me, just people that had bought songs from them. ughh now i have to sort through 7500 songs to find out what other songs are missing and alot of the stuff hasnt been backed up yet either so redownloading stuff is gonna take forever cause i cant connect to most people since i cant portforward.
