Well my friend and I plan on taking DXM later today, one problem, my friend bought robotussin cough and cold which also has Guainfensin and Phenylephine in it so I am not sure if it is okay to take. We also have one bottle of delsym but it isn't enough for the both of us. Also it bad to drink some beer with it, my friend wants to know.
I believe you can get high from that, just make sure you do not exceed a certain dosage. Also, expect to be puking... A lot... I think the beer would just come up.
depends on the person, some people puke from the cough syrup alone, others might once they start drinking. But I like to do both, I robod for the first time in 2 years the other weekend, and I just go lit up as well, it was fun.
i hope people can take the time and do ur own research, u learn alot from... educate urself... it can be fun telling others. and its so easy when all the information is right there at ur fingertips. Guaifenesin is an expectorant, meaning its ment to help/assist in bringing up phlegm and shit out of ur airway... it makes u cough less, but when u do cough its suppose to help with the phlegm. when its used in high doses it causes nausea and vomiting, and it can lead to formation of stones in the urinary tract... so, it has its medicinal values but u shouldn't be taking this at high recreational doses. Phenylephrine is a decongestant, the primary effect is hypertension... it works by constricting blood vessels (veins and arteries). it constricts blood vessels in the sinuses, nose, and chest which allows drainage of these areas. it can cause extreme tiredness, dizziness, impaired concentration, a slow heartbeat, and comas at high doses... dont use it if u take an MAOI, it can have dangerous interactions. and this stuff will pass through ur liver... so, its not good buddy. use only DXM as the active ingredient. its been a couple days im sure u already dropped it. if not well now u know those other ingredients are shitty for you.
Well in case you didn't know this, but DXM alone can make someone puke. It's just one of the side effects that it has. But add Guainfensin and you got a recipe for disaster, because that in high doses will just make you puke and puke and your trip will be no fun at all. Also just drink cough syrups with dxm as the only active ingredient, doesnt matter at all about inactive. So just stay away from multi-syptom bottles, and you'll be fine, so buy that bottle of Vicks 44 and chug, chug, chug.
Yeah we went through with it, no beer. It went fine and told my friend to get the DXM only one next though.
