okay so I pick up my friend joorox [his user name] and we wee ready to smoke, it had been a bad day for me, figured out my recent ex had made out with one of my not so close friends, and I had to find out from his sister. anyways, on to the story so my transmission is fucking up and I go to pick up my friend, he had his car taken away. so I pick him up and head into town to buy weed, proceed to buy the weed and leave we have a smoking spot we go to sometimes, just some random woods. So Joorox and I are sitting in the car, Joorox packing a bowl and me enjoying the music [already smoked a bowl of my stuff] so at this point we have a little more than 4 grams. As he starts packing the bowl a lady in a blue van pulls up and askes if there is anything wrong we both say no and she leaves, she didnt see the bowl of any of the weed. so Joorox proceeds to pack the bowl then we both see this beige car come out of nowhere and pull up right next to us, Joorox trys to put the stuff under the seat as fast as he can. the car ended up being an undercover cop and he pulled us bnoth out of the car and proceeded to get all my peices and weed out on the roof he drops a few things and makes himself look like a fool in the process. He tells me to sit in his car and begins to threaten me that I could be taken to jail and all that bullshit and I said I would cooperate but told him a phoney story about a fake dealer in this other town with the given name: Tyler who only sold little amounts like 8th's and dimes. we waited for a bit longer and the drug team showned up in regular clothes with no dog hmm.... anyways the guy leaves I get a girl and Joorox gets a guy so I am in jeapordy already and I plan on doing anything I can to get out of it so I am flirting with this cop big time, it actually helped she asked for any information on anyone I know so I give her a fake name that is somewhat close to the real name just incase anything happens and I really need to tell someone but [I really dont want this kid to get in trouble] my friend gives nothing untill charged that he could get taken to jail and he says can he have a few days to think about so the guy gave him till friday and he said if he doesnt get a call he will put out the warrant for his arrest the lady tol me I only had till 3:00 tomorrow but I am going to wait for Joe to call since they are partners. but we got off they took all our stuff which equals about $20 worth of weed, and $80 in peices :[ I need your help so please give me whatever suggestions you can, it would be much appreciated!! update: alright so two weeks after this incident occured the detective contacted my house and talked to my sister, told her that he would file a warrant for my arrest if I didnt call him back that night. she callse my mom, my mom calls my dad and we have this huge meeting at my grandparents house with my friend Joorox and his dad [as you can imagine this went horribly] anyways we call back the detective and I tell him I am unwilling to give up anyone and refuse to say anything further untill I have legal advice from my lawyer, that also didnt go over to well with the detective, oh and on a side note figured out that this "drug team" was a special narcotics unit assigned to my town for a short period of time to try and erradicate the drug problem. now were in the present, it has been a month now since this incident took place and the cop has not contacted my lawyer or myself yet to say that the warrent had been issued, how long does this process usually take and I have also been cleanfor two weeks now taking my lawyers advice for a drug screening when I am brought in. any advice? suggestions on what I should do?
personally i cant imagine them waisting anymore time with you.. it takes a helluva lot more effort to get a warrant and then serve said warrant than it would have to just take you to jail.. lookin at your pic,and knowing you only had less than a 1/8th on you,i doubt they are going to waste there time hoping you will lead them to the "big fish".. think about it,had they taken you in and let you think about ratting someone out in jail,they stood a much better chance at getting you to role,and they wouldnt have to spend the manpower hunting you down. nope if i had to bet i would say its all over.. however if either of them see you around,i would expect to be harassed..
Oh, I re-read. /\ He's right, They're not going to actually ARREST you for pot! That's ridiculous... Just tell your friend to lie, and the most they can possibly give you is possession (minor fine, probation, comm service, ect). If you really don't want that I suppose you could turn in the dealer, but that's really being a bitch.

The police cannot "make deals" only the prosecutor can. Nothing other than a simple possession charge should come of it. But they will make you shit your pants with inuendo of jail time.
and when they are doing warrants for arrest. it doesnt take long to get them out if they have the right reaons. maybe a weekend tops id thnk
you know, no matter how many times I know that the cops threats are jus plain bullshit, I just cant understand how they have that power and attitude that makes u near shit your pants.
fuck this whole situation, I said screw the be clean thing till I am on probation I really don't think they'll drug test me in the jail so yesterday I smoked a fat spliff and a huge bowl and was completely baked for not smoking for two weeks.
