Play lines while stoned?

    I dont know if anyone has any experiance but i need to know if ill be able to remember my lines if im good and stoned. My part is a pretty major speaking role any advice or imput?

    1 hit maybe. Anything else, no. Marijuana affects the memory. Especially short term, which how you'd remember your lines.

    I'd say you shouldn't do it.

    i did drama class and i was stoned all the time
    helps me relax and get into character easier

    The rule I go by is if I learn a play stoned, I'll be fine reciting it stoned.
    If you learn it sober, I wouldn't risk it.

    Usually, learning lines stoned really helps me "get out of myself" I guess and fully embody the character I'm playing. I'd give it a go stoned by yourself though before you do it in front of an audience.

    get stoned and write the lines on your arm so you wont forget

    haha.. i thought this was a thread about being stoned and cutting up like sugar or flour and making "play lines(of coke)"

    Haha... I remember once, I smoked for the first time in ages, right after my performance, and the next day, I had to perform the matinee and the 7 o'clock show.
    I was fucked ALL day the next day fromt he night before. It was my first time high infront of ANYONE, I was so nervous about being found out, looking back on it, I'm sure NOBODY really knew.
    It was easy, and really fun. I had to sing too.



    The worst part was the bright lights shining on my face... but the different colors looked great. And it was all really weird seeming

    nah man dont get stoned i dont speak from expereince but when i was in college i couldnt do spanish stoned cos i 4got all the words but i hadnt memerised them as much as someone would lines would have done but i wouldnt to be on the safe side

    man i'd be awkward as fuck trying to preform a play when high, it would just be weird....
    idk try gettin high and see if you remember your lines before the actual play

    i don't think getting stoned and memorizing a play is a good idea
    take Stella's advice.. her's is the best IMO

    yep i did it the play was 3 days ago and me and my friend smoked a blunt in the bathroom everyone knew even the staff but noone cared it was fun i was a little nervous but i did pretty good.
