Gore/Death Metal

Well I totally dig Exodus... but I get what youre saying, and I agree... sadly theres always too much lidigation from the financers to book certin bands... ASIDE from Dave's totally asshole-ness.

 

i just saw Anal Blast on thier last tour. they were pretty fuckin sick.
Impaled, Cardiac Arrest, Splatterhouse, Frightmare are some cool gory/death/thrash bands
if you think Necrophagist is boring, then look up Brain Drill haha
out of the major old school bands i have to stick with Atheist man they are just fuckin awesome.

 

impaled is definitely a badass band. i need to go to more death metal shows...last one i went to was nile, 3 inches of blood and some fucked up asian cradle of filth-ish band...fucking weird. but nile and 3 inches of blood were both good.

It sucks there aren't many good metal tours. Central CA has nothing at all, except for the starting of California Deathfest which is more than likely moving to LA next year. It'd probably just be easier to move.

 

Nile, Spawn of Possession, Necrophagist, Brain Drill, Deicide. It's all good.

If you're rich you can fly over to Germany for Wacken Open Air. Heaviest concert i've been to here in Canada was the Dethtour, lol. Chimaira Soylent Green and Dethklok. All of the good death metal is either American or Swedish.

 

Oh how I wish I could... So bad. And that is true where good death metal comes from. Supposedly from the guy that is setting up California Deathfest this year Mortician is going to be there along with Obituary and perhaps Necrophagist along with all the people who were there last year (Or most of them)

There were some good bands there, though Infernal Revulsion should have been a headlining one.

That is American, and I know there is other good death metal, but the best is from America and Sweden.
