Yea so i had a crazy dream last night, it was really wierd because i enjoyed it but then i became overcome with fear and it continued into the morning. Anyway let me know what you guys think and if it means anything. So it starts off: I was at someones house at a party in Chicago, and i saw this guitar with a light comming out of the side so i went and i picked it up. It was the most beautiful guitar i have ever seen, it was an acoustic that kinda looked like a Gibson ES-335 except somehow it had more of a solid body, i couldnt understand it. Instead of being put together with glue, it had rivits on the corners and it looked like it was sewn together but instead of thread, everything was wood. It was gorgous and i kept thinking it was like one of Jerry Garcias elecrtic guitars except it was bigger and acoustic. So i picked it up and started playing it, even in my dream it seemed like i played it for an hour, it was so fun because the guitar had such a sweet beautiful sound. Everyone at the party (whom i didnt recognize) kept complimenting me on the guitar and my playing, and i was asking everyone who walked by if the guitar belonged to them but no one claimed it. So i started walking around looking for the owner of this masterpiece, and while walking of coarse i was still playing. I guess i walked right outside into downtown chicago stilll looking for the owner and then i saw this huge theme park ride, it was kinda set up like the witches wheel except that it brought you up to the tops of the tall buildings and instead of being strapped in, there was like bleacher seats that everyone sat on. It was an all black ride and it was dark outside. I saw my sister and my best friend and they told me to come ride that ride because it wasnt that intense of a ride. so i got on the ride... with the guitar in my hands. All of a sudden we were being shot up and backwards and really all over the place, all over chicago.. it was crazy and i thought that i was going to fall off. so i let go of the guitar and i had to hold on to a railing that was behind me on the bleacher seats. I had to slowly watch the guitar fall down each step of the bleachers and i couldnt do anything about it or i would of fallen off the ride, and the guitar fell off the edge... The whole rest of the ride i was panicing because that wasnt my guitar and it was so beautiful, i kept looking down at the city while we were flying across it to see where the guitar may of landed. I felt so bad the entire ride and i thought the owner was going to kill me. So when i got down from the ride, i immediatly started running around the city in every ally to try to find this guitar but it was hopeless i couldnt find it anywhere... i was miserable... So eventually i awoke and all of a sudden my cell phone ring from across the room.. All of the hair stood on my neck and arms, i was overcome by this feeling of fear. I really thought that it was the owner of that beautiful guitar calling me and gunna ask me where it was. It was crazy. So that was my dream, i still remember it vivadly and i thank you all if u read the whole thing because it was really long, and let me know what you think and if you think there is any meaning in it. Woah. I read the whole thing. Sounds pretty extreme. If you're asking for a meaning, I think I might have an idea. Do you owe someone something? Did you borrow someting and not give it back yet? It might be like a warning dream. Telling you you have to pay someone back soon, cause you might be running out of time. Maybe if you borrowed something lately the dream is telling you that you gotta give it back to the owner soon, cause someting bad might happen to it. Something that I've thought about before is that dreams can reference things in life. Some dreams could be flashbacks, and others could be "flashfowards." I like to think that dreams could give advice for future situations. This happens (at least to me) in a metaphorical way. The dream might not be exactly whats going to happen in real life. But the dream could be a representation of something thats going to happen in real life. Just some stuff to think about for you.
you know what i like to think, that im gunna go ahead and make up a sketch based on that description for a guitar, copyright it, sell it, and not give you any of the royalties. after all you did say that know one was claiming the guitar and that it wasnt yours either. and i do remember misplacing a guitar i made not to long ago that sounds kinda like it, so thanks for reminding me about it.
Hey man good idea, id buy one. it was beautiful. such a rich sound. and thanks for your interpretation of my dream dazed.. ill have to do some thinking about that.
i was just joking. i dont have the resources, or the tenacity to do that. i just meant that maybe you should, you dreamt it, so you created it.
