Yeah! Gross! Kinda. This is SO MUCH why I believe that the scripture in the Bible about not building a house before God, or the temple or whatever, was made. I know it's in the Bible I just can't find it right now. So, anyway... My reasons 1. The churches are the ones who took the books from the Bible because of their own fears. Basically, creating fear in people. 2. Judgement. Religion is used as a form of control. Sorry, but it is. 3. A church is considered two or more people. So, why should we have people telling us what the Bible is about in buildings, and basically (I am not saying Christianity is brainwash) allowing people to brainwash us into what we SHOULD believe according to them? 4. Every church is different, I just want to say that right now. I'm not trying to say ALL churches are bad, in Oregon there was a church I absolutely adored, because it was a coffee shop. They had this one night that was a Bible study and they had stand up mic it was pretty sweet but they were open to discussion and listening to other people. 5. Cannabalism (I can't spell right now) , although I don't support everything the guy says in the article below, I think it's important to understand different churches and different concepts. Please don't think that the S & M bread is made of meat, it's not. It's made of soyflour, and some other stuff. You can look it up online. I say worship alone with a group of people if you want a church, but not in a building with serious leaders, of course at times guidance is necessary, but at most, I remember my grandmother going to one church, where they refused to baptise her because she wore earrings, and she had her hair trimmed. Anyway, I know most of you are anxious to read about the communion and eating of human flesh so here ya go. http://www.nobeliefs.com/communion/communion.htm
I am not sure what the connection is between groups that believe in a substantial (or mysterious) transformation in the bread and wine and building-less churches....
