he's the guy who used to design with alexander mcqueen right? He's kinda indie here and pretty expensive. Canada has a much larger fashion selection than the states. Okay if you are wearing sebastian pons today I will be extremley jealous.
haha! i fucking wish! no, im just recently getting into him....i saw a feature on an old line of his and i just loved it. i think hes one of my new favs.
I am wearing a hanes t-shirt stretch over my manly muscles and some tight old levis.... control yourselves ladies.....
I think men in Levi's so SUPER SEXY!!!!! What are you doing in the house? Get our and strut your stuff!!!! You must be seen!!!! You probably won't come home alone.
At work so...the usual cooperate business casual -- a polo shirt w/ khakis. Bullshit that it has to be worn, but what can ya do...
his stuff is pretty cute. He was on fashion trance a few months ago. My fav newer designer is layfeyette148 (sp?) I got an evening gown by him at loehmanns for like 50 bucks (it retailed for over 1k). My ultimate fav is still marc by marc jacobs though. The prices once his stuff goes on sale is decent. It is either hit or miss with him though some is genious some is horrid.
marc jacobs is my fav too!! his stuff sometimes gets really marked down but its usually too pricy to buy. i actually dont own a lot of designer items, i just love following it and getting ideas from things that appeal to me. ive heard of lafayette148...i havent seen it around here though, but ive heard good things.
Today I am wearing levi's, my light-pink Steve Burns shirt, and silver flip-flops (just the strap part is silver, people!). I have my toe rings on and also my anklet as well, not to mention my watch, bracelet, and ring. Oh, and you can see my black bra through my shirt. WOO! I also have a light-grey cardigan on because it is frickin' cold outside!
do you guys have loehmanns up there or off fifth (the saks outlet)? If so you can get usually current season mj stuff super cheap. I have never paid over 50 bucks for any marc at those places and I even got an mj mini skirt for 19 bucks at loehmanns once and it was originally 200 dollars. I got gucci sunglasses at the saks outlet for 40 bucks too and they have cashmere burberry scarfs for like 40 bucks in the winter. They are amazing places. I have a few designer items but I mix them with gap, banana republic(and sometimes even oldnavy) ect so I don't look like a walking logo. But I can get a pair of seven jeans at the outlets cheaper than I can get a pair of jeans at the gap. Mixing stuff up and copying trends is the best. You should go on the shopping forum at style.com I post there too and don't have to be as censored to avoid ridicule as I do on here
oh gosh...i know, people must think we sound superficial and shallow being into designers but oh well, i just like clothes, theyre how i express myself in a very fun way. and i do the same, mix and match items, like with gap and old navy...actually, i like some of the shirts at oldnavy, the ones without logos on them, but i hate the pants..they dont fit me well. and we dont have those outlets fecking sucks. my friend told me about a holt renfrew outlet which has marked down designer items but thats all i really know of. and winners is kinda an outlet, but you have to really really search for things! i dont like following the trends though, that really annoys me. just those typical items that become so in, like the mongram louis v. purses. but thats exactly what i do, i see designer ideas that i like and copy it with my budget. and i will definitley check that sight out! im so glad we can talk about this together
Today I'm wearing green jeans and a Grateful Dead shirt I got at a thrift store. It's from the '92 tour. It's one of my favorite thrift store finds
