well, im hoping i just get probation after my court date in 15 days. question is, if i get probation will i be able to move to another state and continue probation there? or will they officer come to my house to check out everything to see if im growing again or do i just go and do a drug test at the place where they work?
I'm on probation for 1 year right now (done may 31 though). Everybody's terms for probation are usually different. There are different levels of probation, depending on the crime. I tried moving out of state, and they said it's fine with them, but the state you are moving to needs to approve it first. They have to ACCEPT you where you are moving. They usually let you move, as long as the area you're going to isn't way overcrowded, although it does take up to 3 months for it to happen. I wanted to go out of state for college, and my I missed the school deadline by the time 3 months had hit, so I ended up staying where I am. Hope that helps.
