Yesterday I ended up scoring a bag of khat from my Ethiopian friend Daniel. They do a lot of it seems. It was $15 for a pretty big bag. You have to chew it, kinda like snuff. Tastes pretty bad. Took about a half hour to kick in. It was pretty intense. It seemed a lot like an amphetamine. The effects were milder though, and generally more pleasant. No jitteryness or anything of the sort. Coming down was no problem at all. Apparently after about a day, when the stuff dries out, the active chemical converts to something much less potent, so it's only good for about 2-3 days after it's cut from the plant. It's actually pretty desirable. It's nothing super intense, but I really enjoyed it. Other then the taste I have nothing bad to say about the experience. Recommended.
it felt like an amphetamine because its like two oxygen atoms away from methamphetamine, the active chemical you felt was methcathinone, theres synths all over the internet for it and can be mad right from psedoephedrine...the synthesis is MUCH saffer than cooking methamphetamine...
