Transplanting?

when my plants are really small do i have to remove all the soil from the dirt?

 

Soil and dirt are the same, don't understand the Q!>)

 

im thinking he maybe meant removing the soil from the roots.......and if thats the case then no....you don't have to take it all off. When they get older and have a more extensive root system you want to take 25-30% of the soil off the bottom of the root ball and the middle.

 

yeah that was my question sorry that was a typo but yeah so if its a baby its ok to just take the whole plant and the soil around it
