Right now im at the time of my life where im expected to work 12 hours a day for little money, to have kids and find a girlfriend and have a shiney new car and house. I'd just like the freedom of living out in the "real" world, like the thought of living in a caravan with some hippie friends and talking about times gone past and what it means to be alive. I want to be the kind of person who isnt so materialistic and dependable on money, I just want to be happy with people and be myself. I see people here who travel the world on minimum resources and get the max out of life, I know it wont be easy but how could I follow in the footsteps of them? Any advice would be most welcome.

What im planning to do is to set up my bed and kitchen in the back of my tiny van (Seat Inca 1.4L) and save 50% of my money to travel and live on the other 50%. Start traveling & stop'n'work when ur savings go below 1000$ or whatever. Then save & go. For shower I can go to public swiming pools, beaches, gyms, camp sites, and I go to them laundries that work with coins. Have u got a van already? Whats holding you? I wish u the best of lucks!
I want to do this when I'm older. I'm a bit young right now, but still. I've always wanted to just go to a big forest, a big tree, bring a guitar, and just live there with some other hippies. A whole house could be up there, we could live off the land, stuff like that. The new-age world can't accept things like that, that's why it's so messed up. We just can't learn to get along with each other and nature and live in harmony man. We should. Peace
