Ciao or should I say GrueB Gott.

I went to Salorno in 1995. It must be in Alto Adige because I remember signs in German and people going to work in traditional Austrian outfits. That was the only time I've been that far north and I've been to Trentino 4 times because I have family there.

    Where did you go?

I lived in Austria for half a year and went on a day trip to Bolzano. Back in the day when the Schilling was everywhere and the Italians spoke German to us.
Not many people who visit Italy ever go there... I think I'd like to include it again in a trip the next time I go to Europe.

I thought I entered the gateway to paradise.
You can take Italy out of Austria but you can't take the Austrian out of the Italian....eh?
