I'm eating celery sticks and I heard "no peanut butter on your celery... how plain... hahaha" :uhoh2: it's called eating healthy... maybe her fat ass should try it sometime.
maybe she just didn't know that you can eat it plain and still survive...or she just loves peanut butter...
You know celerys a negative calorie food. Meaning it takes more energy to digest celery than you get from eating the celery. Meaning you would starve to death if locked in a room with celery.
Some people don't realize that you can eat vegetables without fat on them. The other day a guy told me that he couldn't eat the rest of his carrots because he ran out of ranch dressing!
Actually, peanut butter is quite high in protein and “healthy” fat, good for the heart. This versatile (and oh so yummy!) nut butter is an excellent source of thiamin, niacin, potassium and magnesium and a good source of pantothenic acid, zinc and phosphorus. There’s even a little bit of iron thrown in for good nutritional measure! See, it's not all that bad, in healthy amounts of course, like anything else. Personally, I love peanut butter and eat it several times a week, mainly spread on a piece of whole wheat toast or dip apples in it for breakfast. However, I tend to follow more of a high protein, low carb diet and I do work out daily, which can counteract the "fattening" side affects if you want to get technical. I think, actually, I know the peanut butter keeps me going a lot longer when I have it for breakfast and then follow that with my work-out as opposed to say, a bowl of cereal and fruit. It has much more staying power, I can tackle that exercise routine much better with a high protein breakfast! Anyway. Had to defend the beloved peanut butter, the confessions from a peanut butter-aholic.
ya peanut butter is good for you. Some days ill eat 3-4 peanut butter on toasts in a row. Im a healthy mofo.
Much of the supermarket peanut butter is junk. It's filled with cheap unhealthy oil like cotton seed oil (garbage left over from the cotton industry), sugar, and salt. Read the labels. It's better to make it yourself with your own ingredients. .
I used to love peanut butter. But recently I have preferred baba ganoush..it is healthier, better and quite versatile IMO. Plus it is easy to make. shaggie I agree, most store purchased peanut butter (even organic) is extremely unhealthy, better to make it yourself.
maybe someone else just made a nasty remark about her unhealthy diet and she just wanted to take revenge. anyway, wouldn't let it break my day
I finally found out that the cheap oils in it were wrecking my skin. I wish I knew earlier. The digestive system has trouble digesting the oils. The next best thing it can do is to try to expel them through the skin. Dry roasted peanuts don't cause any reaction in me, so I know it's not the peanuts. .
I think that was my problem too. Anywho, red, orange and yellow bell peppers, by themselves and raw, are really yummy to snack on. Especially when they are fresh from the farmers market in the summer or from your own garden.
