My lovely sativas are into the second week of pre-flowering so soon enough there will be an increase in odor. I don't have the budget or know-how to install fans and the like, so wondering what cheap odor control systems I could use. I've seen this on youtube which looks cheap and battery operated https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgKVxnbOVfI go to 6mins in. I looked up the name given online but couldnt locate it. Any help?
Hey Mate! I remember that vid he had massive carbon filter too btw. I believe that was just an air freshener used for masking the scent. You can probably pick up a "plug in" one at a drug store or the like. Basically, you can have a **puff** of pine scent (or whatever you choose) every few minutes. Not sure how well the work - you may want to check out an ionizer if things get too skunky. There should not be too much maintenance and less expensive then a full tilt carbon system. GT! BB
if you need some spray you should use california citrus spray (i think that's what it's called).. it's extracted from straight up oranges and other citrus fruits.. very intense scent, and i'm almost positive that it wouldn't be harmful to the plants either
ion/hepa combo filter helps filtering through activated carbon helps hanging bags of activated carbon helps are we talking filtering scents for indoor, or filtering the scents going to the outside?
Ozone Generator For total odour removal and complete air sterilisation, the New Ozone Generator is the answer. The Ozone Generator plugs into a power point, and generates ozone gas which will neutralise all odours, as well as kill many bacteria and fungi known to harm plants. The best ozone unit we have found so far is the 40W Skunk Buster :cheers2: ........No joke there is no smell None not even when your in the grow room. $295 AUD or for $12 you can buy (ODOUR ZAP this Neutralises weed odour molecules on contact.
