Has anybody done much busking in Toronto? I'll be pulling the guitar out and going at it soon. Probably try playing in front of some liquor stores. Beatles,Dylan,Pink Floyd etc..... Hopefully make some half decent money. Anybody else do much busking in Toronto?What kind of songs? Cheers
I seen some young asian kids playing some hard core violen by the underground. Looked like they had a couple hundred bucks.
Oh, sheesh. Re-lax, it's not THAT bad. I've done my share of travelling and I consider Toronto an extremely safe city. The crime rates are much lower than other big cities in Canada and North America in general. Have fun busking! Maybe I'll see ya around! Come to Kensington!
Just be cautious on where you busk. Some buskers pay for a license and the right to certain turf, as it were - like some of the subways. Liquor stores should be ok though.
Queen Street West, the Drake retains its status as an iconic forward-thinking mecca of culture, art, and community in large part due to its celeb connections and the bar's 4:00 am last call. Suite (XL) feels like hanging out at a friend's house.
