So I just planted a (marijuana) seed. I put it in some dirt thats close to some other flowers that have been planted there and are growing so I know its good dirt. The seed was little and whitish and there was only one. what are the chances of me getting an actual bud? lol. I'm not actually planning on like, tending to this I'm just wondering.
i've tried that just planted some random seeds in some dirt and didn't do anything about it...but a little tiny plant actually grew but it died before it got big enough to do anything with. someone told me the whitish ones are female...and if you can crush it with your pinky nail then it's not mature enough.
Ill be germinating a few seeds once it consistently gets warm here. Who knows if Ill actually sack up and plant them though.
Don't believe them. The white one are not mature enough. You want the brown seeds. There is no way to tell if the plant is male or female.
Heres an example of a seed which is not mature and a seed which is mature. The mature seed is on the left and the immature seed is on the right:
as stated......white and green seeds are immature and should be tossed. Also toss black ones as they are more often than not overly mature. You want the brown ones that usually have black "tiger" stripes. Sometimes they are just brown tho. And it doesn't matter if you can squick em' between your finger or not.......chances are if you are able to squish one that is brown.......you just killed a seed that would have sprouted alittle quicker than the ones you couldn't squish. Anywho....thats enough on that.
