I went swimming for the first time this year.

 

That is the one perk to live in the south. perfectly cool water every time. I have 4 pools available to me, a house on lake conroe and a pretty good sized creek in Sam Houston National Forest. Its gonna be an awesome wet summer. Im staying away from the beach this year.

yay for swimming! i went hottubbing last night, but it wasnt the first time this year. havent been swimming yet but my sisters pool opened today so i'm gonna be in it asap.

 

haha both, mostly coz the last time I went to galveston there was some bully seagulls and my sister got a rash. to top it off, brown sand and brown water arent that great to look at, much less swim in.

Hehe, that's funnny. There were some Seagulls who flipped out on my ex girlfriend. I told her it happened because she was outta balance with nature.

Yeah, all the beaches around Houston aren't really that great.

 

Oh I've loved the weather we've had lately. I've been wanting to go down the river...but I think it's still a bit too cold.

 

im freezing my ass off down here as we go into winter. actually in the middle of the day in the sun it's quite hot, but in the shade and at night its cold. we had a shit summer this year it rained almost the entire time. and yet i still managed to get as brown as an abodiginal.

 

we got baked in the car and got Popeye's fried chicken for munchies and got a 6 pack. we decided to go eat and drink and chill. Well, these seagulls decided they liked the chicken and hovered above us for half an hour.. it was creepy and highlarious.. yeah, galveston sucks. gotta go all the way to crystal beach or Pardre Island.

What was your christmas like in Australia as a kid?

we are all crims when it comes down to it. actually most people here now are descendent from immigrants who arrived way after the convicts. like meeee.

christmas as a kid.. lets see... boiling hot, swimming in the pool on christmas day, getting sunburnt, having a huge turkey and then napping in the summery afternoon. oh and at night time the cicadas are very noisy.
santa rode his sleigh with his huge suit on and he got fucking hot going around this place.
if i lived over there it'd be cold christmas and hot birthday. as it is its the other way around. ive had 2 white christmases and to be honest, i prefer the summer christmas!!!! never surrender!!!

Texas winters are a bit crazy. Way warmer then most of the US all winter. Then there a week in late February or Early March where it can snow

Actually I was reading this thing about the southern hemisphere and it was talking about how there were twice as many stars in the sky because of the earths position.

And I read all these other nice things about Australia. Sounded really nice.

Just gotta get over the crocs!
