Hi, I'm just getting back in toking after a few years away from my favorite plant. Since that time I have lost a significant amount of weight and I finally got myself in good shape (I was really overweight for years). But I do want to get back into toking about once or twice a week because I've had a lot of stress in my life lately. One of my major problems was the massive munchies I used to get after smoking. I would eat probably somewhere around 5,000 of various foods after stoning. I can't do that anymore. Can anyone suggest either tricks to curb the munchies or some healthy foods that are low in fat and calories? It would really help me out to hear your tips and tricks. Thanks!!! -Hayden
Iv been having this same problem and its getting really bad , last night i ate a 3000 calorie pizza.. Its really messin with my working out n shit. I don't think id have the appetite for dried fruits / granola / nuts though. Try frozen fruits, those worked pretty good for me for awhile. Frozen blue berries are jesus-like.
Canned peaches = my favvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeee SO good. I also REALLY like dried cranberrys. And teh dried tropical fruit mixes. The natural stuff...not the one PACKED with sugar
Luckly I'm quite a bit underweight for my age. My doctor told me to eat more with a wink so by smoking I'm just heeding his advice.
I don't usually eat anymore when I'm high compared to when I'm sober. Thus not getting the munchies very often I'd say the best food to curb it is the bag of chips called munchies. Or if you want something healthy... carrot sticks?
I'm the worst for munchies. At school yesterday I was really high so I went and bought 2 slices of pizza and a pop. Then at break I was still hungry so I went and got a bag of chiips and another pop. Then after school I bought a donut lol. That never usually happens. I just felt like eating.... Surprisingly Im not overweight lol.
I rarely get the munchies.. but i eat regardless, because it feels extremely good and tastes a lot better to eat while high
Cheese its, and water. If your going low carb. I have a high metabolism, I could eat anything and still keep slim. Drink lots of water though, it really helps you out later when you want to eat some of the fattier stuff.
fruit is by far the greatest thing ever... you can eat it and it will cure cotton mouth.. just remember.. every serving of fruit usually is equal to a glass of water.. so if you watch your water intake take that into consideration
Have a ceaser salad, or some fruit or something. My munchies aren't that bad, if i'm high and there's a mcD's i'll be munchin
a nice juicy pear or some other tastey fruit. for a food to fill you up just eat something not high in saturated or trans fats. poly or mono unsaturated fats are very good for you and have been shown to actually help you lost weight. stuff like guacamole, nuts or whole grains are loaded with those good fats
Second on the fruits! Grains are good too. I have this shit called "Harvest Grains" and it's mad good. It's got very interesting texture so it's fun to eat.
