man...I really wanted to get one like it. The guy in the picture is Bob Dylan's son, by the way everybody. His name is Jakob and he's got a solo album coming ou on the 10th next month.
yeah... just go into a nice guitar shop and feel up the guitars, your bound to find a good one. As for jacob dylan, i dont like him. I heard a few wallflowers songs and they werent very good.
Ahh man. Have you heard One Headlight? I used to ride around with my mom and listen to that all the time. Its great.
lol THANKS!!! Now all I gotta do is go buy it! =] Im starting to think its some kind of custom guitar or a reallllly expensive hard to find Gibson. The pick gaurd and fret inlays are Gibson style touches. Shit.
i dont think jacob dylan is a conaseur of guitars. Its probably just some random non meanstream company.
Yea maybe. Its just when I tried to search it up on the web, I found an article saying he uses Gibsons and Martins. Oh well, I guess its time to hit the shop and find a nice one with low action
If you're refering to the Acoustic being held by the man seated in the photo. Its almost impossible to discern, but if I had to guess, I'd say its a vintage Martin.
The guitar in the photo has a tenson adjuster in the headstock. Martin guitars do not come with tenson adjusters and the logo on the headstock is not a Martin logo.
Looking at the guitars he uses in the you tube vids, the only acoustic I saw him use was a Martin (it wasn't the guitar in the photo). As for the electrics he uses, It looks like he uses mostly a Fender telecaster also sometimes a Strat and sometimes a Gibson f-hole hollow body.
If your going for acoustic and money's not an issue go martin or Gibson his dad used them for many years, their both classic acoustic guitars with naturally low action (for an acoustic).
I had a Martin many moon ago and it was a great guitar, great action and sound. It was so pricey that I was afraid to take it out of the box to play it, let alone take it somewhere. So I sold it and bought a VW van and the Alvarez I still play today.
