My last day of school is on June 2nd, so I was going to kick off summer break by going on a short backpacking trip. My school is off of Highway 30 in Cedar Hill (jefferson county) and its only about 20 miles from highway 44. once you get to 44 there are tons of campsites and what not. If anyone is intrested in joining me, let me know. it would be lots of fun!
there are lots of good rivers in that area too, and june is usually when it starts getting warm enough to swim, float, canoe, etc.
Jeffco's close to an hour away from me...I go down to St. Joes state park sometimes because they have an area for dirtbikes/atvs/trucks but that would be a fun place.
