Interesting... Smoke kept puffin' out.

Well, I was just smoking my pipe, and I had this nice hit that I just didn't want to stop. I kept puffing on the pipe, and out of nowhere little puffs of smoke just started puffing out, like you see when old men smoke tobacco pipes. Well, I thought this was weird, 'cause I wasn't trying to exahle or anything.


Anyone know why the hell this happened? I'm thinking somehow I did exhale, 'cause I was able to hit like this to the end of the bowl.

 

can you explain this phenomenom more? where was the smoke coming from? where were you? what sort of pipe ?

 

I don't know where they came from, because I couldn't see. I could just see clouds of smoke in front of my face. But my lips never left the pipe, so I don't understand how I could've exhaled at all even if it was involunarily without smoke flying out of the top.

 

This is common. It happens to me all the time when smoking. Its similar to the way when you inhale on a blunt many times a large amount of smoke will pour out the end. You simply dont have enough suction to bring all the smoke in so some just flutters around. This is my theory on it atleast.

 

Well, hey, it makes a lot more sense. And, yes, it really does explain it, to be honest. The momentum of the smoke won't just stop the second I pull away, some will still flow out.


The mystery is solved. I knew I couldn't have been exhaling.

 

yeah, i did this the other day. I was taking a huge ass hit from my iron lung, and I saw some smoke so I'm like oh shit maybe I didn't clear it, but sure enough it was cleared. So then I looked in the mirror and there was a little bit of smoke coming out my nose ha ha

 

oh i see waht you mean now, like smoke comes out after you take a hit.

not about the momentum of the smoke tho

Maybe u were seeing stuff cause u were stoned, I was one time and saw the whole car full of smoke, and everyone else said they didnt see any in there, then it went away, and came back. So I just didnt think anything else. Then they saw it, and it wasnt freaky anymore.

i dont really like it though because i like to hold my hits in long and not waste.

Weed smoke is really fun.

 

i think the phenomenom occurs simply because by hitting the weed, you get it lit, and it stays lit longer than you pull it. so when you stop pulling, the smoke rises out of the bowl instead of going into your mouth.
if you exhate while holding a pipe in your mouth, all the weed pops out.

 

i do that all the time. its awesome
