Does anyone here recommend this extraction to get DMT? Is it a good way to get Dmt(just DMT and not 5-meo Dmt)? Has anyone tryed it with satisfactory results?

well, that particular species of phalaris has questionable amounts of 5-meo-dmt in it. from what i can tell from my experience with it, the concentration of the 5-meo-dmt isn't very high at all. it was barely even noticeable. i haven't extracted it yet, but, i've smoked the dried plant and gotten minor effects, but, there is a good tek for the extraction of dmt from the phalaris grass, i need to find it again, but, once i do, i'll go ahead and post it for you.

thanks, i know ive seen this plant around my neighborhood, i think i even felt it in my hands. Cant wait to try DMT, but i want my first time to be pure so i think i'll try the mimosa root bark method first, about how many grams should i purchase of mimosa to get at least 6 hits of DMT?

well, that's kind of hard to say. umm....i'd say get enough to make a large extraction and just weigh out single doses. and if you go to erowid and go to the dmt vault, there are three or four different extractions for mimosa hostillis.

best tek to use? Im thinking about Lazyman's tek because its simple and apparently gives high yields, but the DMT for the masses looks good too. When it asks for draino lye, i dont know which brand to use. I went to Ace hardware and lowes and they sell Draino professional strength kitchen crystals, it doesnt say the ingredients on the back. Anyone know if this is safe to use and other types of brands i can find in a store?

this is also a good tek. i'm getting ready to use it. my best friend used to use almos the same extraction to extract dxm from robitussin.

    *edit*
oops....it's the same as the other link......

i would just use ammonia. it's easier to find in a pure form, and it has a ph of 11, so, it'll be easy to get to your ph of 9

Leapfrog, have you ever substituted lye for ammonia and got good results? I dont want to improvise on a tek, but it makes sense that ammonia will work.

you could just order a dmt frog. you just massage the frog glands or something and the juice has dmt in it.

Not quite. Its mostly 5-MeO-DMT and Bufotenin (or however the fuck you spell that)

You can use lye, it's actually the best thing you can get. You should look up more info on A/B extractions instead of recipes for A/B. I found out that you can also use baking soda (not baking powder, sodium bicarbonate USB) but add very, very slowly. The one time I tried this, I fucked up and the bicarb overfizzed and I lost everything. Oh, and get a digital pH reader. Litmus papers aren't gonna cut it - the liquid is too dark to get a reading.
