I've only started smoking a couple weeks ago and I haven't gotten high yet. I've smoked bowls, bongs, and joints and still absolutely nothing. I've smoked amounts ranging from a couple of bowls up to about 3.5 grams in a single sitting, and I don't feel shit. My friends like it cuz it makes me like their personal driver when we smoke, but it's pissing me off. Am I expecting to much or is it possible that I just have an incredibly high tolerance to weed?

Also I'm a 17 year old male, 6'3, 170 lbs. If that makes a difference as to how much weed I'd actually have to smoke to get high.

    inhale.
make sure the smoke gets into your lungs and hold it in for 30+ seconds. hold it as long as you can. maybe try to find some better weed. have you smoked before? if not then you probably dont have a tolerance

you got to inhale and ontop of that i knew stoners who didnt know how to smoke, they would inhale and exhale immediatly like a cig which your not supposed to do, hold it for 20 sec and you get the full effect but aleast 5 sec 10 is good but the longer the better. Socially i hold it 10 and by myself i hold it 20, holding it makes all the difference.

yup. Just take a hit then breath through your nose or mouth and hold it. Take really big hits too. Hits that hurt.

exhaling through your nose is a good idea because then you know the smoke went into your lungs, but it hurts more, not hurt but burns kinda

after 5 sec of holding the smoke your lungs have already absorbed all the THC they can. So holding it for 30 sec or so is only adding more tar to your lungs. Just make sure you take a hit and a big breath after it to increase the surface area of your lungs to make the THC absorption most efficient.

Remember man that's there's a difference between bring smoke into your mouth and blowing out and inhaling. Deep, deep breaths. Good luck lol

Basically everything Ive heard points to holding it much longer than 5 seconds doesnt do you much better. Think of it this way if you hold your breath your lungs dont keep absorbing more and more oxygen out of the air you are holding. You have to breath eventually.

yea i guess i over estimated usually if i take a big hit ill hold it in for 15 sec breathe out a little then inhale again not really ghosting the hit but keeping the rest of the hit in as long as i can on average though id say i hold the hit in 10 sec yea 30 is too much ive never counted before just kinda estimated sorry

just practice on your own inhale. do deep breathing exercises first if you want, and then try. it sounds like that is your problem. everybody breathes, but somtimes we forget the basics! what makes us breathe? what does it feel like?

then after you get high, repeat, it'll make even more sense!

if you hold your smoke in EVERY hit for 30 seconds, you are going to pass out. just hit, inhale, hold for 8 seconds, and exhale. EASY!

Like everyone else here has said, don't smoke it like a cigar. You want to pull the smoke all the way down to the deepest part of your lungs.

If you're smoking correctly and still aren't getting high, I don't know. It might be oregano? lol

like all of these people above say you gotta inhale. getting it in your lungs is a big part, but how long you hold it is vital, you'll know its in your lungs when they kinda ache or feel kinda loose and wabbly is the only way i know how to put it. hold it for like 10 good seconds and you'll be good man.
