Hi, Just curious if anyone had any information about the Hare Krishna religious movement. I bought a book from one of their monks or whatever at Bonnaroo, and I just now got around to reading it. I looked up information online and some people praise it as the source of happiness and others say it's a sham and a cult. Just wondering if anyone had any first hand knowledge? peace!
Well judging by personal testimonies in books, the movement can belong to either pole or someplace in between...

You're welcome. As I said, there's a lot of info and discussion on that thread, which was put together over quite a long period. - I'd just add that there have been some problems in ISKCON over the years, but they are all man-made ones. The underlying philosophy is good. Shanti.
