Hawaiian/ Mexican difference help needed

You will see on the website below there are fresh shrooms for sale.
Hawaains are €14 for 10g and Mexicans are €9 for 30g.
What is the descrepancy in price and weight refelcting in the type of mushrooms?
Normally I like a light high with 10g taken, but is 30g of Mexican the equivelent of 10g Hawaiian???

10g of fresh shroom so not much at all. My bro has bought from these guys and he loved the product.

 

I wouldn't reccomend it though. There's a certain chance of getting it and not getting it each time and the company that sells it isn't responsible. I would just look around your area, you're bound to find some mushroom dealer around... Also, those mushrooms sound like major sales pitch...

 

He's in the UK, where you can get fresh mushrooms legally. If they're both cubes, I would buy the Hawaiian just because I've never tried them. Mexi-Cubes are good, though.

 

10g wet weight is only about 1g dry weight

You say they're legal in the UK? Though they were banned in '05, cant get them anywhere now... though yes if you pick them I think they are legal, but I'm in zone 1 london!

 

I must have missed that news. I had a lapse of being online for a couple years.

 

I doubt they ship to the US.

to the OP, i think its best to experiment. location doesn't play as much of a factor as how they are grown and handled.

 

I just looked at the website again and to answer the OP's question,

The Hawaiian are Copelandia Cyanescens, and the Mexican are Stropharia Cubensis according to the site. Cyanescens i'm pretty sure usually contain a higher concentration of the active chemicals than Cubensis. That is why they would be more expensive cause they are more potant.
