I am a hippie and went to the Atlanta Pop Festival in 1970 to see Jimi Hendrix play the "Star Spangled Banner" on the Fourth of July. That is a memory I'll never forget. I graduated from high school that year and moved to Austin, Texas where I have a lot of hippie friends now and am involved with the music and festivals in Austin.
