My brother likes to rent the more wierd and unusual movies, which is good because I enjoy them as well. So the latest movie rental was, "there will be blood." anyone else seen it yet? I just finished it, and all I have to really say is that it's an instant classic for me. For anyone who likes serious crazy movies you will love it...gauranteed!
Yeah, some of the best character acting that I've ever seen. Not that it was bad, I just think that Daniel Day Lewis' acting kind of overshadowed everything else, and that the plot wasn't anywhere near as interesting as just watching him play Plainview. Still a hell of a good movie, nonetheless, and I love how they never really redeem the main character. I think it should have won best picture instead of No Country for Old Men, but I guess that junk doesn't really mean anything anyway.
When I watched it the first time I thought it was a dark comedy, and still think so. It has some of my most favorite qouatable lines in movie history imo.
It's just a well done movie. They all respectively played their rolls so well, and the music through out it is perfect for each scene.
