Speaking of my brother graduating...

What's a good graduation gift for someone? I really have no idea...

Keep in mind- we are poor as fuck right now... my car is sitting in the shop waiting for us to get almost a grand to pay for it and I have 15 doctor bills sitting beside me, half that are in collections....

So like 20-30 dolla range maybe....

After reading your other thread, you could get him something symbolic Lucky. A 'Golden Scissors' to celebrate the cutting of Mummy's apron strings.

You could maybe get him a frame for his degree, if he's the type that would like to display it.

Hmm... I'm not good at picking out gifts for people I know, I know for my brother's graduation I just took him out for a beer.. You could just write him something from your heart about how proud you are of him, that's better then any material item ever...

 

So he's going to a new city. You could get him a keyring shaped like a CD with a picture of the family on it. Or maybe one of those T-shirts...'If found, please return to...'. And put your mom's address on it.

A 6-pack of really good beer, or a 30$ bottle of decent whiskey, depends on what the guy drinks.

You can always give some silly material gift, but honestly... few things beat booze.
