i hear all this talk about going green but it's funny ...i used to drive a garbqage truck and the average family of today ,which by the way is not even half the size of a family of yesterday puts out more garbage at the curbside a week than the family of yesterday used to haul out to the back of the property every six months .....no one buys bulk anymore and does from scratch .....it's allabout convenience and advertized packaging
i think we can help we arent doing everything we can to help in this issue one person can make a difference and we have to remember it starts with one! remember ronald ragan he pretty much helped to start the civil rights movement with the desegragation of the millitary cognress and the senate were against him but he was just one man who made a choice and acted on it . Thats what we should do stop trying and start doing!
It's a little bit of everything. There are major changes that need to be done by our culture as a whole to reverse our mindset of objectifying the world as ours to use and abuse, and waste and want enlessly. But yeah, before we have a global paradigm shift to a harmonious lifestyle with our planet (it'll happen any day right? ) it's the small things that count. Recycling, buying organic foods, public transportation, planting trees in local parks, etc. Everything counts!
I agree if each one of us did something help the world at least one time a day we would be doing alot og helping but, most people dont know or dont bealeive global warming or dont care.We need get our message out there some how.
