I would guess that it means that 1/2 a cup is about 4 ounces. So either would do.

As for the patches under your butt cheeks why now sew in two patches that look like eyes. That way, when you walk, your ass would be winking at those behind you.

Sewing jeans without a patch tends to lead to them ripping again very quickly, especially in an area that will be rubbed so much.

I would make a good wife. I look great in an apron and high heels.
