Alright Ive worked for the city every summer for the last 4 years. They've never drug tested before. This year I hear they got a new temp. agency that hires the part time employees. I also hear that they drug test. If I were to come up positive for marijuana would I get fired? I smoked all the time every year. I would go to lunch, smoke weed and then go back to work. Would they really fire me when they know that I work just as hard stoned or not?
Yes, they would, they won't understand that your not using marijuana to get "fucked up". Most people still can't accept cannabis. But, I don't think they would do random tests, just pre-employment.
I would think so, start drinking water reguarly if you arent already, even tho theres a good chance you wont get tested its not worth your steady job. Or buy synthetic piss off ebay, worked for my friend. Or get a clean friends piss, pour some in a condom and put it on your jimmy, place a pocket warmer next to it before the test (To heat it to the correct temp). Worked for another friend.
Ahhhhh be careful. If you are working for the city via a temp agency then you may very well be subject to random testing. Now for the city itself you will have an initial test (if a new hire) BUT if there are any incidents (work related accidents, fall down, hit something with a vehicle, etc.) you will generally be sent right off to the clinic to drop.
It is a temp agency, If they do random drug tests then im screwed cause I'm not gonna stop smoking forever. I dont think they will though, I hope its only at the beginning. I know for a fact that if you have an accident of any kind they drug test emmediatly so im hoping for the best on that aspect.
Most jobs I know only drug test you when your getting hired. After that you usually don't get tested ever again.
I used to work for a temp agency that said that they would test you if hurt on the job, my buddy sprained his ankle and they never tested him but that was because he never filed for workmans comp.
June 9th is almost a week away. It's really not that bad taking a break from weed. I really cant wait to get back to it though. Hopefully they drug test me on day 1, or If find out that they wont at all.
yo if they will tell you when you are going piss in the cup which they probably will, then they will give you alot of privacy its not like probation officers dont worry, you can either ask a friend thats clean to piss in a condom for you, then tie it up and tape it like under your balls then when you take the test poke the condom with a needle and yeahh you should understand the rest ps: or just invest in a wizzinator
