Aliens/Aliens vs. Predator movies

I've read a handful of these books and I must say that the movie industry isn't doing a much of a great job of the movies. After Aliens (2) I think they fucked up big time. Aliens vs. Predator part 1 was horrible and Requiem was better but it just doesn't fit the actual storyline- 1 Predator against a horde of alien bugs? Come on! Totally not by the book and I found that rather upsetting. Entertaining though.

Anyone else have an opinion or ranting about these movies?

When films go into production, they always end up changing from the plot of the original book for whatever reason. What happens in AVP:2 requiem book?

The comics are far superior then the movies. I was disappointed to see the events happening on Earth instead of SPACE in the future.

Feels too much like down to Earth versions of the comic with less action and less charismatic characters.
