Where do you want to go for college? My top 5 for computer sciences: Northwestern University University of Washington DePaul University Illinois Institute of Technology University of Illinois-Chicago
In the fall I'm going to Virginia Commonwealth University to study International Relations and Languages.
Spanish. I actually am sort of pissed that I didn't take that in school, because now I can't talk at all with the cooks at work. Oh well, it might be more fun this way anyhow. I already know a decent amount of German, and I want to learn an obscure language in college, something like hindi, or arabic. That way I'll interact with all sorts of people in whatever my profession might be.
yeah a very different language would be interesting. they offer arabic at my college. i am hoping to take a language like that, just so i can learn something other than spanish, too.
University of Washington is a good school. Know several people who go there and who have graduated. Like all big universitys now days the competion is very high. Best study hard.
University of Washington, is not one of my top picks since it is out of state. The rest are all in Illinois, and I would like to stay close to the family.
haha college is finally here. I know someone who goes to DePaul, they like it a lot. I don't know much about the others. Personally, im trying to get away from my family..im going to Ithaca in New York to study film and photography. nice 5 hour drive lol.
Maybe if you went to class once and awhile, you would only suck dog nuts. My top choices are: University of California Davis- Evolutionary Anthropology. University of Oregon- Biological anthropology with a non-human primate concentration. Central Washington University- Primate Behavior and Ecology Michigan State- Zoo and Aquarium Sciences University of California San Diego- Non-human cognitive science.
^hell yeah! lol any time i needed laundry done, or some extra food, or to go home for dinner, I could because I only live a half hour away from the college I go to, lol. but I think I would rather be far away, my mom would call me every day asking if I was going to stop home for a visit. I felt bad, cause I knew she missed me, lol, but come on. I'm a college kid, I need some space!
I'll be 2 hours away from home. But I'm paying for half of college anyways so out of state was too expensive.
UCSD is a beautiful school. I visited and loved it. however, if you're an out-of-state it's expensive as fuck, if I remember correctly. get on dat' scholarship tip.
Nate I am also possibly looking into computer science at University of Illinois-Chicago. I have also looked into the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Colorado-Boulder for computer science. Other schools I am interested in include the University of Vermont and the University of Oregon. Also alternate majors for me include Chemistry and Pharmacology.
