Alright so about 3 months ago I found 2 seeds in a crip batch and tossed them into a pot with some soil not thinking much about it.

Here we are3 to 4 months later and I have a 6 ft tree and a 2 ft tree both full of buds.

My questions is I have no clue when I should prune it, when its ready to give optimal bud, and If I can cut pieces at a time. My fear is stunting the tree or waiting too long and losing potentcy..

The big tree has buds all over with the little hairs white with brown tips... top(cola) is about 1ft tall
The small tree has buds all over and the hairs have turned amber and right under its purple.. Both have crystals around near the flower... Cola is 6 inches tall

I just cut the cola of the small plant a ta 45 degree angle...

Any help is veryyyyy appreciated!!!!!!! I cant find any pics online that shows a plant ready to be prunned..

Do you mean harvest or prune (as in trim back)?

Sounds like you already took the main cola so proceed with what you are doing. If you want to let it to continue to grow over the summer be sure to leave some green on it.

If that wasn't what you were asking - you might want to explain what you want to do a bit more in depth.

Yeah if your pistils are turning amber, I don't think pruning is your aim here. I would say when 70% of the pistils or little white hairs turn amber then harvest. There is about a 7 day period when you get the most potentcy, but it's hard to tell exactly. Stick with the color changing and you'll be good. Sounds like I would tart harvesting now from what you said. On average an indoor plant will take between 56 and 70 days to bloom. Hope this helps.
