I'm in Central Florida. I left my work shoes outside to dry overnight, and I must admit that I checked them a couple of times before putting them on to make sure that the fucker wasn't in them.
I love seeing nature in action. I saw two dragonflies fight once, and there was a third one buzzing around, watching. assuming two males fighting over a female. it was intense, they were extremely fast and went all directions. I saw two kangaroos fighting once, too. on their tails, kicking eachother and all. that was pretty awesome. I've seen geckos do some crazy stuff, zipping along in the ceiling to hunt down their food and such. I once saw a torn up deer or some such, blood trails in the snow, surrounded by wolf prints. didn't see it in action, but still pretty nuts.
I saw one about that big (if not bigger) but it was a black widow.. and I ALMOST ran into him while i was mowing the lawn.. scared the shits out of me
When I lived in Washington I never saw anything piosoness but since my move to Missouri I have seen black widows, brown reclouse, copperheads, cotton mouths, and numerous other little creepy crawlers.
Those are great pics BSR... I sit and watch the happenings of outside all the time, it's great.. I've seen bugs attack and eat other bugs, I've seen ants work together to move and build things.. See snacks eating it's prey which is fascinating to watch though that's probably because I like snakes, I've seen some pretty neat stuff and hopefully will see more..
Hahaha ... Of course I do and then PBS films me with some dramatic music while I inhale the snake in slow-motion...
