First time with shrooms...

Didn't know where to put this....so 4 of us want to do it. how much should we buy and how much should it cost to have a trip?

 

you should have posted this in the psychedelic part, but that's ok.
since it's your first time, and your friends too? you should probably just try a half a cut and see what it does for you. you don't want your trip to be too intense the first time you do them.

i need to get some from my dealer. i just dont have 6 or more hours of "free time"

 

shroom prices tend to be comparable to weed prices according to weight. you'll trip nicely from half an eighth, but if you plan on tripping out in nature, on a nice day, away from people, and have 6 hours with nothing to do, a full eighth each would be amazing. take them early in the day, like when the sun is coming up. i've tripped from shrooms for 9 hours when the settings were optimum.

either way I highly, highly recommend you do it out in raw nature, especially for first timers. have happy music and plenty o weed. if done right it will provide an interpersonal, interuniversal connection unlike any other. just dismiss your expectations and accept whatever comes your way.

 

I'd recommend 3.5g. Do like Skamikaze said and just get a 1/2oz to split 4 ways. Can't go wrong. It's not too intense and not too mild. Just right. Have fun

It's usually $30 per eighth around here, but the price may be lower in your area and the price may go down per eighth if you buy a 1/2oz. It all depends on the person you're getting them from. I wouldn't pay much more than $30 per eighth though.

thats true but id say majority of the people here do more than just smoke pot. At least i know thats true with majority of the regular posters.

you can't go out in nature? I'm just curious as to what you guys intend to do. I mean, it's important to not intend to do anything, but setting is so vitally important to first timers. I'm not saying you need to drive forever to get somewhere secluded. A person's back yard would be good if you knew you wouldn't be bothered by anyone straight. especially bigger backyards. with many trees.

I just don't know what it is you're expecting. shrooms and all entheogenic/psychedelic drugs are uniquely different from other drugs in that they take you out of your normal reality. Anyone can trip anywhere, but for first timers you must know that you will be very impressionable, not dissimilar to a little kid. You might even say your naked soul comes out and to that soul it can be confusing or scary to be in a manmade environment.

I wouldn't speak out to this extent if it weren't for the fact that you are all first timers. Not trying to scare ya, but these types of drugs (shrooms, acid, mescaline) require more planning than other more recreational drugs.

 

Nature may be more to your liking and better suit your comfort level, burnabowl, but JP- may be more comfortable indoors. Stuff like that is never set in stone and is different for everyone.

that's what I tried to concede when said "anyone can trip anywhere." but they are ALL first timers. it's like rolling the dice if it's in any random setting. I'm only speaking in terms of statistical probability. First time trips are more likely to be good outdoors; that's all I'm sprayin

the first time can be a real rebirthing; it's what the drug is trying to do if you let it. seeing that we came from nature it would make sense that the rebirthing is more pronounced in nature. I'm not saying it's the only way to have a good trip, just saying it's going to maximize it, for first timers anyway.

 

id say inside would be better. Theres a chance you could run into neighbors being outside and that wouldnt be good.
