Ever wonder what might've inched its way into one of your locks? I was thinking about this the other day when I was out walking and where I was walking there were tons of gnats and stuff, thinking how gross it would be if they got tangled into my locks and such.

I'd prefer them up my nose and down my throat. They end up passing through my body instead of staying in it.

little buggers always try to burrow in the big dread in the front of my head. i usually just shoo them away, but if a bug is so small that you cant even see or feel it, might as well just let 'em live there :D

I am not a buggie fan at al but I always do worry about that. I just do my best to keep them out of their. I had a tarantula(her name was Georgia)who loved to play in my dreads but other than that no but I love spiders and snakes but I stil dont want them to nest their eww

i used to have like 40 lil snakes i'd let them go in my dreads and theyd completely disapear burrowed into the roots
id go outr to a party with these 40 snakes in my dreads id be sitting around talking to someone when 1 would poke its head out and freak em out...fun times

i al;so know a guy who has a rat that lives in his dreads when he ties up his dreads he makes a lil cave for his rat to hide in and he just lives inside the dreads

now does 1 lil bug srill seem so creepy?

im a firm believer in the fact that the more i swim in the ocean, the less bugs will want to stay in there. ( im speaking of small gnats and insect creatures)

Rat, hmm,no thankyou. Wish I lived by the sea or any salt water at this point. Do you have to use sea salt for your dreads or can u use regular salt? Sorry such a dumb question.

Having a rat live in my locks...? Uhm, I don't know so much about having rat poop in my hair...

Plus I'm terrified of spiders, so there's that fear.
I wasn't even posting about fear. Just something I was wondering about. Gnats don't bother me because they're so tiny. I was just wonderin.

All salt water will open up the cuticles on your hair.

Natural sea water has lots of other stuff in it as well, which many people believe is beneficial for your hair and scalp.

I don't let things live in my hair.

i used to let snakes play in my hair before i dreaded it. i let one try post-dreading and it got really stuck under my roots, so no more snakies unless they are big ones. my rats loved my dreads though. i only let them in there for a little while during playtime and for walks. a properly socialized rat wont pee or poo on you unless it really really has to go, so bathroom breaks every ten mins are necessary.

ok i dont believe ive got animals in my dreads, but i oftenly find small branches in them. Plus i stayed for 48 in the sahara desert and my hair was covered with sand; I still find sand in my dreads. I pretty sure theres always going to be some of it still there. haha imagine having a piece of the desert always on your head
