Planning on robotripping tonight. I've got a full bottle of Tri-Vent DPC (about 12 oz, give or take). I've only done tussin a couple of times, and even then it was only about 150mgs. I liked it, but right now I'm looking for stronger effects. At the very least, minimal CEVs. Any advice on a potent but safe dose? P.S.-I have about 200mgs of promethazine, and I'm unsure wether or not this would be of any use with DXM. I always take it when I do opiates, but I've never taken it in conjunction with tussin. Any thoughts?
Tri vent DPC contains phenylephrine and chlorpheniramine in addition to DXM. High doses of either of these substances can be fatal. So i would not recommend tripping on this product at all. Go and get a product that contains only DXM as the active ingredient ( Robitussin DM, Robitussin Cough Gels, Vicks formula 44) and trip on that. If you MUST trip on the tri vent, keep the dose low and be safe. i have used low doses of promethazine to help with the nausea resulting from taking a large dose of DXM. Since Prometazine is very sedating, i would keep the dose low so you dont pass out and sleep through your trip. hope this helps. -PSM
Isn't chlorpheniramine in CCCs as well, though? As for the phenylephrine, the LD50 on that is 350 mg per 1 kg body mass on lab rats, so if the same stands true for humans, I feel fairly safe. Since there are only 6mg of it for every 15mg DXM, I'm not all that worried. But maybe I should be. What would you consider to be a relatively safe dose, taking all this into account?
yes chlorpheniramine is is CCC's and thats why any webiste or forum on robotripping says, unequivocally, DONT TRIP ON CCC's...
