My mom had a hash psykosis from the age of 17-21, I was born when she was 25. What is the chance of me getting it, if i smoke weed/hash. I smoked before, once every other month i gues, and then now she tells me out of the blue. Should I be watching out? Cuz i really dont want to be in a hospital for 4 years :/
I've smoked hash of all qualities and quantities, all I got was real high. Sounds like how wash to me, after all she did tell you santa clause was real too, right?
No, and she was in the hospital for a long time, so much i know. Jeez, just wanna know how it affects me?
Don't listen to him. He calls himself a trailer park boy. And he's not even Canadian... pfft :stunned:
weird, I've never heard of "hash psychosis." seems like having a psychosis from the ganja plant would be an incredibly rare event. i'm highly dubious about your mother's condition and I think you should have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Yeah, cos if its not prevelant in the textbooks, it must not exist, right? The idea doesn't seem strange. It's a powerful plant. But I'm quite sure there would be no reason to worry on your part, pieman.
I'm also going to say this. more than about 20 years ago, hash was in its infancy as far as getting stuff in the western hemisphere. If you knew a grower, you could usually get a bit, but otherwise you could get 'imports', but the supply wasn't particularly good, and heavily adulterated with all kinds of crap, due to bad production, pollutants, and bad handling. (like if hash is pressed wet, it has a tendency to mold, which is bad mojo) We have now, better techniques of production, better ways of handling, etc. a further note, if the plants were grown with insecticides, chemical ferts, etc, as thc is oil soluble, it can also absorb oil-based pollutants, which, with hash concentrating the trichs, it'd concentrate any pollutants as well...yet another reason to go organic and know who you're getting it from. properly made bubble hash from clean, organic plants that haven't been sprayed with insecticides is pretty low risk.
