i know what ive read,i know when angelgodiva came here we had long discussions about him as she knew him from the time she was 13 till his death..

you can sugar coat his life however you want, the fact is,he was a heroin addict most of his adult life,he was known to have psychotic episodes and violent outbursts and IMO most of his music is mediocre at best..

not someone i would consider idolizing thats for sure..

Eh, i was never really a Beatles fan or a Lennon fan. If I had to make a choice I would have to say that McCartney was way more talented.
Lennon was a little to off the wall for me. the only song I liked was Imagine.

I always find it so amusing when younger people praise and worship someone that wasnt even alive when they were...totally cracks me up. Just my opinion.
