Will Obama hold up to his promise?

He says he will pull out of Iraq in 16 months. Will he live up to his promise or will someone give him a call with an offer he cannot refuse and sell out or worse yet, he will paint a target on his back and end up another Kennedy.

What do you think. I hope Americans do not vote for Puppet McCain or the Female version of Bush.

female version of bush...I like that. she sure has been acting like a republican since super tuesday. just a couple more weeks then all the primary voting is done and O will get the nod hopefully. I think obama will keep his promise; even nixon was able to end 'nam. I think the change in admin alone will get us much closer to getting out; we don't have any choice anymore but to get out. everyone seems to know it's a joke of a war, I don't think anyone will stand in his way.

 

The problem is there is billions of dollars on the table, people do not like it when their lunch money is taken away. Obama is painting a red target on his back when he throws a specific goal.

Hillary is smart, she is not going to pull our troops from iraq and she is not as naive as obama, she knows how the system works. She will throw vague phrases around so the public thinks she is going to pull the soldiers out of iraq.

 

Anyone who runs on a major ballot, accepts money and bribes during campaigning, and isn't specific IS a puppet.

 

After eight years of a money grabbing, lying motherfucker, does it matter? Hell we could elect Charles Manson and do better...

McCain's spokes-ho yesterday implied that McCain was Jesus Christ, so the comparison of Republicans and Manson murderers is quite damned appropriate. Except for the fact that the Manson "family" never killed a thousandth as many people as today's Republicans. But both believe/believed in a final war to wipe out most of mankind, and believe that war to be the path to salvation.

Well looks like Obama is a Puppet as well. Just shifted the chess pieces around, but permawar continues. Obama has surrounded himself with the same people who got us into the mess. (lots of Goldman Sachs alumni etc) Same old same old.

I dunno, if s.h.t.f. in the Middle east and all the troops are already stationed there, I wouldn't be shocked if they extended their stay to use Iraq as a base of operations in the region.

But,,, time will tell as with all things eh'? They aren't gone yet,,,

The "pull out" from Iraq is largely B.S. While the official troops are supposed minimize their presence our government will still be pumping money into thousands of private mercenaries there to guard oil interests and embassies. The real difference is that the media doesn't really pay attention to mercs.

I have a feeling that the withdrawal will face a roadblock though. The media has been getting trickles of stories about the Pentagon and Generals being worried about rising tensions that could destabilize Iraq ... so, you know.
