Where the hell is Daniel Siebert!

I have sent email to Daniel Siebert to help with the Salvia fight in the U.S. and he has chosen not to respond and not to become involved. To those who know Daniel Siebert is the "father of modern day Salvia study and exploration" many of the studies I have done are based on his research and even part of my Pharma graduate studies from the Univ. of Boston/Trinity University. He has chosen to sit back and remain quiet! This upsets me because he should be leading us on the forefront. I have Gone to Austin, Texas, New ork, and now Florida to help fight for salvia's legality on my own money from my salvia product line and sales. But I would think that Daniel would be the face of the movement, THIS IS NOT THE CASE! I call out Daniel Siebert, are you the salvia leader you should be or just your modern day poser!?
As many of you know I was in a bad accident where I was hit by a passing vehicle on my way to the post office. I was hospitalized for weeks and even recovered from a less than 30% chance of survival. As soon as I was able to do so I picked up the fight right where I left off, many of you have begun to join me in the fight for salvia and all my thanks go out to thiose who have. But many don't want to leave the comfort of your computers. We need old fashioned mobilization and strength in physical numbers to sway any influence on this vote. If you you pose the cause you will lose the cause, so I challenge any of you to fight in your individual cities to stake your message that salvia should be legal. I have begun videos and will be broadcasting them on youtube to combat the distorted truth of salvia and it's effects.
I can't fight this alone, other vendors are the real "posers" and staying out of the fight but willing to sell salvia while its legal. Shame on you! I will compile a list of vendors I have contacted personally who have chosen not to join salvia's fight. Will you still buy from these posers, I hope not. Its up to us, the people, not the lambs hiding from the lions hoping they will be left alone. If salvia is destined to be banned I'm going to make a hell lot of noise going down, and no one will ever be able to call Kal;izhada Inc., a poser.

Dan is the one that started this whole thing. Got Salvia out there, well known, and helped make it 'popular' in essence he was part of the 'problem' in a sense.

I do wish he would make a better stand, someone with his background could do well to fight for Salvia. But perhaps he consulted with the Lady and she said to just 'let it be' ? Who knows.

It is depressing that something as wonderfully safe and medicinal as Salvia divinorum is going to be outlawed due to sensationalistic fiction.

 

I sent Siebert an interview request several months ago and have received no response.

He may be too busy to answer email, he may receive too much email to do so, or both.

It could also be that he is trying to distance himself from the drug for legal reasons. Aspiring spiritual gurus (from developed nations) tripping out on psychoactive chemicals has always been frowned upon by the majority of adults. It can make someone a legend in the minds of those within a specific subculture, but it's not always a comfortable reign.

Maybe Siebert's no longer interested in being a tin badge Leary. Perhaps he'd just like to continuing cashing in while he can, but quietly, under the radar.

As a journalist, I was disappointed, but not particularly surprised by the non-response.

In any case guys I'm not going to give up and will continue to fight the fight. With or without help I will make sure at least 1 voice is to be heard. Siebert might have re-opened the door to salvia but I'm going to make sure my foot is in the door way to keep the government from closing it on us.
