Old Percocets

    Hi, I found some really old Percocet. They are at least 20 years old. Do you think that they are still good?

    I don't think they made Percocets 20 years ago. They are probably Percodans, which is the same oxycodone with aspirin instead of apap I believe.

    Anyways, although it's probably lost some of its kick, you could definitely feel something from it, especially if you have alot of them. Start with a normal dosage (as if they were new), and if it doesn't hit you as hard, adjust accordingly. Don't start off taking double dose assuming that they are weak.

    Definitely give it a try--you'll be fine...they don't get dangerous as they age, just lose their potency. Nothing to lose really.

    On a similar note, I found some percocets a couple days ago from 2 years ago when my brother got his wisdom teeth pulled. They are 12 of them left in the bottle, so I might pop a couple tonight.
