I'm gonna be working at a dollar tree as a stocker like in the back rooms ya know?(well hopefully...) and I was wondering if anyone knows if they drug test stockers or not? Because I smoke like 3-4 times a week and when I do its more than once a day... I have a personal trainer that I go to 3 times a week for weight lifting and he makes me do A LOT of cardio like a 20-30 minute jog on the treadmill goin like 5-7 mph. okays i was just wondering if they drug test at a dollar tree because they are a chain with like 3000 stores in the usa. so I was just wondering if anyone has any prior experance with this? i think my friend in high school worked there and she wasnt drug tested. Odds are if they havent said anything about a piss test i think you'll be fine. But just to be on the safe side drink lots of water and go running.

If they have not asked if you can pass a piss test, you are probably safe. It costs the company money to test you so they don't want to wate time. Anytime I had to pass one they ask me specifily "we drug test can you pass". But I did work for an animal day care once where the guy asked me like 5 times in the interview can you pass a drug test. I said yes, and he said ok and NEVER did it, just let me come in the first day and never brought it up again. You can never be sure

They have you sign a release or some bullshit on the application if you're gonna get piss tested. If they didn't mention it on the application, then you're in the clear.
i used to work in a lot of stockrooms and shit, and to be completely honest, it's pretty hard to find stock people that DON'T smoke. i know it depends on where you live yadda yadda, but seems to hold true for me.
hahaaha I'm in Cali dude so there plenty of people here!!! and i may be hopefully getting legalized soon and hey if you do get piss tested and you test positive can they legally tell your parents?? because im 16 and with the money i make im gonna bring up legalization with my dad. he was a hippie back in the 60's he was at Berkeley and shit he wrote the speeches for them haha... ok im have a stoned rambling my bad

Seriously.. if ya need a job... and smoke.. your best bet is the restaurant industry.. no one gets piss tested in a restaurant... "you either drink, smoke, or do both..." thats a direct quote from a restaurant owner i use to work with
I feel you should always be clean for a new job. In case you get drug tested. I would rather be safe then sorry.
you'll be fine if you had to be tested they would've told you (legally they have to) isnt dollar tree like a toy store or something? i remember going to one a really long time ago and seeing lots of children's toys
^^^ they sell everything for a $1... i use to go there a lot.. but shit.. their deals arent even deals.. you can usually find the shit cheaper else where.. like walmart
