What would be a suitable bong for smoking salvia? I've never owned a bong nor know nothing about them.

    They seem to split in categories ;

    Glass bongs
    Acryl Bongs
    Ceramic Bongs

Whats the difference in the end? Certainly prices seem the same.
I copy a few links of a shop im planning to buy one, can you give your opinion about the product and does it look suitable?

    A
    Height 32 cm.
    diameter 38mm
    - pesä: 14.5 / 10 cm. (I don't know the translation for this word (Nest, coffin, such)

Heres a whole bunch of bongs
    B

Please help me to pick the suitable one.

Any bong will do, but I'd suggest one that allows you to enhale as much smoke as possible with it.

any bong with water in it will do nicely.

i bong-ripped about 1.5 of my usual salvia hit on friday and had the most intense trip ever. the bong allows you to hold in the wretched smoke without hacking a lung

I generally use a glass bong. Dont use anything you have to hold with higher potencies. Bongs are nice because you don't have to hold it, just put it on the kitchen counter and hit away. I say this because my friends have broke many of my bowls hittin 20x and above and then just droppin the piece and falling over or somethin. Be careful!

How much water should the bong be enable to hold inside?
I see everything from 2dl to 10dl. Does the amount have of water have effect on the trip? So would i be good with 2dl of water(30 Euros) or should i go for the 10dl(50 euros)? Please respond.

extra water wont do much. generally, the more water, the more filtered and cooler the smoke. but a small bong is perfectly fine.

get the bong that appeals to you. you want a bong that you can be proud of.

Some bongs say "Extra ice-space" Some say just "Water space" like 2-10dl.
Do i need the ice for salvia?

    Would this do?
It's the 50 euros one. Says small icespace, 10dl water, and it looks superb :).

Ice just cools the smoke, making it smoother. That one would do fine, it doesn't say how big it is, but 50 euro seems a little high unless its fairly big. It looks like it might be one of those really small porta-bongs.

Anyway, my vote is for glass;attractive, smooth hits, easy to clean. The only upside to acrylic I see is that they are hard to break. Ceramics can be cool, but you can't see through them, so they are hard to gauge the size of hits.

    Cheers

It's glass one, And its the most expensive one of the site. Height 30cm and diameter 40mm. Ice space and 10dl Water. Is it alright? To me it seems like the biggest bong of the site, whats "Small-porta?"

Yeah, it probably works fine. 30 cm is about 12 inches. In the US, I'd expect that to cost around 30-40USD(which is about 10 euros haha). I don't know what the prices are like in europe, though, so that could be fair.

I'd try going to a bong shop and try to negotiate with the guy. it usually works. just don't insult them with an offer and they'll give you 10-20% off usually.

Anyway, it looks totally fine, and if you like how it looks. then get it. By small porta I mean small and portable. There are some 4-5 inch bongs that look like that

This is a policestate, bong shops are rather rare. This one is online-only. Salvia isn't even legal here but i get it thanks to very discreet packaging. I'll be buying the bong i showed you then very likely, thanks :). It seems to have it all more or less. Yes, prices are way up here but buying one from the states would cost about 3x because of the shipping only. I think 50 euros is a fair price for a quality Bong. Rather buy a good one now than start off with a piece of junk.

Cool, ya gotta do what you gotta do. Here, there are four bong shops in a row, so they know they have competition.

Anyway, sounds good. have fun. Just make sure you have somebody holding the bong while you rip salvia because its not unlikely that you'll lose control and break it.

    cheers

    actually, 1 EUR = 2 USD i believe.

buy local if you can. there is bound to be a headshop somewhere close-by.
the hand-blown ones will usually fetch 60-100$ for a nice one, and you can usually talk it down 20-30%.

i got a nice 18 incher with curves in it in a nice blue-yellow design with black striping for 60$ (it was advertised at 80)

Tobacco Master makes the finest product on the market. Glass bongs are disposable (right after you break them). TM's last for life.

Heya, Whats the difference between diameter and height? I see some bongs being up to 50cm with 2dl water space, as the one i showed you has icing, 10dl water space and 30cm height. Is the ice necessary? Im quite off about whats the most suitable bong for smoking salvia. I imagine they all do, but still..

    OK,
The anatomy of a basic bong has three components: a bowl/stem(for packing the smoking substance), a water resevoir through which the smoke is filtered, and the charger(the tube you suck on to smoke).

You inhale through the charger while lighting the bowl. The negative pressure you create allows the smoke to percolate down the stem of the bowl, through the water resevoir, and up the charger where you inhale. If you have a removable bowl/stem you remove it as you finish the hit and allow fresh air to clear throught he chamber as you inhale the last of the smoke, thus creating no wasted smoke.

Price is dependant on several factors: material, size, intricacy of the piece, and extra features. Glass is the most expensive and acrylic is the least. The bigger the bong, the more $. If something is hand blown or very detailed, it will cost more $. Some bongs come with additionaly water chamber and ice catchers to enhance the smoking, and these features cost more.

Height would be the height of the entire bong measured from the top to the bottom if it was placed on a table. A 30 cm bong is prettty average. Anything over 50/60 cm gets a little overkill for general use, IMHO. Diameter, I'd imagine, is the measurement of the diameter of the charger in millimeters.

Water space in your case is given in decaliters(100cc, 1/10th a liter). This is how much water the bong will hold. Ice catchers are just places to put ice cubes to further ccool the smoke.

    Hope that helps
