Haven't really read this thread so I only have one comment:

unless everyone around them sucks :shrug:

 

i got kicked out when i was in college. i had finals the next day and my mom and neighbor were howling drunk in the next room. i gave up on getting any rest by 5AM, my mom then kicked me out, i went to my boyfriend's mother's house, slept on her couch for a few hours, then went home to get my stuff. my mom was in SO MUCH TROUBLE with everyone. hahaha. never happened again.

 

Whoa, weird. I saved her number since I'm walking out the door and was going to send a text. I got kicked out by my moms bf when I was 14 so this is a topic I have a lot of sympathy over. Anyway I was typing bnp hf in my phone as the contact name and its set to T9 or whatever. So the first word that came up was cop... uhhhh...

 

i don't particularly care for her at all. it could be a situation of them both sucking, though. if he keeps her stuff and her money, then likely he's sucky, too.

 

Things don't work out. That doesn't mean any one side was right or wrong.

Maybe he was a total prick and shes lashing out here because of anger at her current situation.

Who knows. You shouldn't critique her for being judgmental and then presume to know her situation right away.

There might be truth in that in a lot of cases...but its irrelevant to me. In my opinion it takes a real piece of shit to throw another human out on the street. At least give them some warning so they can have another place to go.

 

too true. though sometimes someone goes so completely unhinged and beyond the pale that they have to go NOW. i'm sure she has friends somewhere.

well she never did lash out at me. That much is true. I see the way she is with folks and with some I care about immensely and have cast judgement based on that.
I am sure she is just misunderstood and a fine gal. Plus she is just 19. I just thought it ironic that given the way she acts she was kicked out.

(Unless she's just as judgmental in the real world. The bf kicking out the gf doesn't really happen that often... )

Which is good, because for a long time I assumed Dave and KC's family only existed in the glass menagerie that is KC's brain after taking all those antidepressants.

i was homeless (with a car) for over a year.
and no it wasnt because i wasnt paying my share of bills...whatever...
it was the day i turned 18 and i went to a party where there was pot (i didnt even smoke)

i feel nervous almost constantly or on occasion abnormally happy its not fun but im not quite ready to give in but im more open to it than i have ever been before.

the ups and downs are killing me.

well, lucky, if she's in the sort of situation with the sort man who can kick her out and make her homeless, possessionless and penniless, she's likely better off without him. or vice versa. i don't know. i only know her from here. but i came into my raging tantrum phase much later in life. it was only eating a good deal of shit for it that made me realize i had a problem and was taking it out on people who didn't deserve it at all.

so, if she's as strong as she believes herself to be, she's going to be fine. if she isn't, she'll hopefully come to a new understanding and work it through. which would also be good. she's got too much energy (and female bits) to stay homeless for long. people take pity on a homeless girl.
