I said its her wedding do whatever. i just want to pick the music. Any ideas? i love the dead, moe, wide spread. i need some help putting a playlist togeather
are you hiring someone to play the music (old-fashioned disc jockey)? if so, let 'em know your tastes, what you cannot stand and be sure to have some everyone-friendly tunes. My sweetie suggest Ride Me High. I suggest he be quiet. Dead: pity so much of their catalog is about love gone wrong, but simply tune wise, the old cowboy songs should get some play, maybe Cassidy, Shakedown for the dancing. WSP Heaven Moe: I can't remember their stuff. It's been 7 years. I'm old. the memory goes. look at Outformation as well. Like old-ish Cheese? Shine and Smile would be nice. How Mountain Girls can love Mauna Bowa San Jose
get a good "Shakedown Street'' by the Dead to open the party up....i used this track at my cousins wedding this summer and i had the whole crowd dancing!
dancin in the street may 5, 77 cornell university should be the only version you play!!! that one will have the party bumpin!!
Well it is YOUR day, but do remember the guests and their comfort. If they all aren't into what you are, mix it up some, otherwise even the right music to the wrong crowd makes for a crappy party. Coconuts is a must. EVERYBODY likes to dance to Coconuts. Even Grandma and the 2 year olds.
Whether it's a steel band, calypso singer, piper, mariachi band, warrior drums, or a choir of Buddhist monks, it all adds to the wonder of your wedding. Stately homes and castles lend themselves well to string quartets, harpists, classical singers, or piano music. Before hiring your final choice of music, it's wise to hear the performers play.
