Does anybody know of grapefruits working to intensify or prolong a trip?

I've heard about it just wondering if anyone has tried.

and if so, is there something special about grapefruits or is it the citrus?

Google it, you'll find lots of discussion. Grapefruits (and only grapefruits) contain an enzyme which inhibit the production of certain metabolites in your liver, said metabolites being the ones your body uses to break down drugs, thus, increasing the bioavailability of whatever you're taking.

I can tell you from experience this works very well with marijuana and codeine.

Your liver has to be saturated with grapefruit though, and it's in fact better to just eat a grapefruit than to chug 2 liters of the juice, as the enzyme is found in the pulp.

Would that work with morning glory? It must if it works with ganja.

It may just be my imagination but oranges have always seemed to intensify my trips. I usually try and have a fresh orange or two and a carton of orange juice on hand. Also something slightly unrelated but along the same subject lines .. plums always seem to kick in opiates harder for me .. has anyone else experienced this?

I think you mean it must work because it works with LSD, as the active chemical in MG seeds is LSA. I don't know for sure if it does though, but wouldn't be surprised.
