ADD & LSD?

Hello everyone. I want to try acid whenever I can find some, but I have one reservation I need to get rid of before I let myself go on that trip. I have ADD and I take adderall for it, so of course I'm going to play it safe and stop taking my meds for a good 2 weeks before I trip(in a nice chilled out setting with 2 life-long friends ofcourse). But still, do you think just having ADD is going to be a problem? Does anyone else here trip and have ADD too?

 

LSD tends to calm down the symptoms of ADD. Adderall and other amphetamines used to treat symptoms can be used in conjunction with LSD to good effect. As long as you dose low and are in a controlled environment, I don't see any problem. The only thing that may be an issue is bi-polar. bi-polar (or manic depressive) disorder often gets mis-diagnosed as ADD and LSD and bi-polar simply do not mix. If you're sure that what you have is ADD, then I'd suggest you learn as much about the LSD experience as possible (www.erowid.org) and proceed from there when you feel comfortable.

well i have adhd and i take acid and its all good, no problems. i would even say u would not have to stop taking ur meds, in fact i bet people do adderalls while on acid, but thats just a guess and if u wanna play it safe u can quit for a while before hand like u said but any ways yah its fine if have add.

i think most tripper type ppl like to think of themselves as having ADD or ADD symptoms.

 

I have ADD, I used to take adderall for it but I realized that taking these medications everyday was wrong. LSD has REALLY helped me to harness my ADD and use it to my advantage. I treat ADD with vitamins/meditation/psychedelics.

 

You'll be fine but I suggest not taking any other drugs like your medication at the same time.

best time i've had on drugs i'm sad to say was mixing adderall with any other non amp. adderall + dxm or shrooms or acid or weed whatever, so good. I'd say take it the day before as well, just so its not the first time taking it in so long, i can imagine this causing some emotional distress.

 

I have heard that some persciption meds will block the lsd experience, just anti depresents I think, not add meds

I have ADD and have never found it hurt my lsd experience but I do not take any meds for it currently. If anything I have felt more in control of myself and my mind after.
